Dhananjay Hegde is a child prodigy born to Smt. Geeta Hegde and Sri G.S. Hegde; Dhananjay had his initial training from his mother. Later he had training under Pt. Venkateshkumar for a while. What molded him into a complete performer, is his taleem under Pt. Vinayak Torvi, a renowned vocalist, under whom Dhananjay had training under Gurukul tradition for 14 years. Even now, he seeks guidance from Pt. Torvi ji. He has performed in major music festivals in India, including Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav Pune, Tansen Samaroh Gwalior, Swar Samrat Festival Kolkata to name a few. His performances were applauded in USA, Australia, Singapore and Thailand. He has been awarded with prestigious Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, Government of India.
Pt. Sudhir Nayak is a familiar face at most music festivals in India and is acclaimed as a sensitive harmonium accompanist to several vocalists and instrumentalists and as a Solo Harmonium player, globally. Sudhir is disciple of the Harmonium maestro and Pandit Tulsidas Borkar, and the noted vocalist, composer Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki. He has accompanied several stalwarts of Indian Classical Music and has participated in several cross cultural collaborations. Sudhir also composes music and conducts workshops and interactive sessions related to the Harmonium on a regular basis and currently teaches Harmonium at the Mumbai University and KJ Somaiya University, Mumbai. Sudhir’s musical performances are regularly featured on Indian television and commercial recordings. Sudhir has also composed music for many projects and albums, some of which have been recorded and published commercially. Sudhir is part of the advisory in many cultural committees and also curates many cultural events and festivals
Yogeesh Bhat is recognized as one of the finest Young tabla players in India and is known for sensitive accompaniment and solo performances. His initial training was under Sri Madivalayya Sali, Sri Bhaskar Hegde, Muttige and presently he is under the tutelage of Pt. Ravindra Yavagal and Sri Kiran Yavagal. He has accompanied several musicians like Pt. Vinayak Torvi, Pt. Jayateerth Mevundi, Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar, Pt. Shounak Abhisheki, Pt. Praveen Sheolikar, Vidushi Bharathi Prathap to name a few and has performed all over India, USA and France. Yogeesh has also received training in Hindustani violin and vocals. Academically he holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
